Red River sits at 8,750 feet, nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Our small town has BIG adventure and a rich history. Historically a mining town, Red River has grown into a tourist destination for young and old alike. With activities for families, avid hikers, snow bunnies and everyone in between, Red River has the comfort of vacation and the heart of home.

 

COMMUNITY HOUSE

The Community House , started in the 1940's, offers hundreds of free activities every summer. Take a look at the list of guided hikes, family fun and other events on the link below!

Take in the chilly air on skis, snowboard, snowshoes or snowmobile! With lots of ways to enjoy the fresh powder, and plenty of winter events, this white bliss will make colorful memories!
